Carrie Polansky
Grants & Major Gifts CoordinatorDevelopment 212.255.6012 ext. 310 Carrie graduated from Emerson College in 2008 with a BFA in Visual and Media Arts. During her final semester at Emerson, she interned for Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders in the Public Education department. Her experience at GLAD led to her decision to pursue a career involving both media and LGBT advocacy. Upon completing her education, Carrie moved from Boston to New York City and joined the IN THE LIFE team as Grants and Major Gifts Coordinator in September 2008. She is responsible for soliciting funds from foundations, corporations, and individual major donors for IN THE LIFE's annual fund.
Carrie is passionate about promoting the use of nonfiction media for social advocacy, particularly in the LGBT community. With this in mind, she is proud to be a part of IN THE LIFE. |
