Driven by her belief in television as a catalyst for social change Michelle began volunteering at IN THE LIFEin the Production Department in April of 2002 and joined the staff, in the position of Production Manager, later that year. Promoted to Operations Director and later, Deputy Director, Michelle was appointed Executive Director in July 2006.

 

Prior to joining IN THE LIFE, Michelle enjoyed a long and accomplished career on Wall Street as Assistant Vice President in the Legal and Compliance Depart of Oppenheimer & Co. and as Vice President of bond and equity trading for various firms including Dean Witter Reynolds. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master of Arts from New York University.

 

Michelle is a member of the National Arts Club, where she serves on the Literary Committee and a member of the Steering Committee of the Publishing Triangle.

 

Michelle is the author of the novel, Postponing Joy.
